We are totally focused on financial services. It is the only sector we work in, and we know a lot about it. From consumers worrying about their savings or pensions, to institutional investors weighing up how ‘international’ a provider really is, we spend much of our time finding out what they really think, and a lot of the rest of it thinking about what that means.
So when you come to us, we can offer you not just research expertise but market expertise, and opinions based on recent first hand experience and placed within your business/ market context.
We do not employ any default methodology, and we have no black box solutions which your research challenge or business problem can be ‘made’ to fit. Every project we undertake is unique, and we design a tailored solution to each brief we receive.
We are constantly reformulating and refining our ideas, and we share them with clients on an ongoing basis – at the briefing, during the course of a project, at the final presentation, and sometimes beyond.
We always take a pragmatic approach - mixing common sense and commercial awareness to design a custom made research programme that takes account of the business problem, the market issues and the research practicalities.
As part of this pragmatic approach, we are always prepared to challenge when it is appropriate … at briefings, in sessions with respondents, in our analysis where we challenge our own thinking to test its rigour, and in our presentations.
The people you meet are the people who do the job – all of it, from briefing through interviewing and analysis to debrief preparation and presentation. And all of them are senior – we don’t believe the same quality can be assured by getting juniors to do the donkey work.
